Vein Guard Cream

Spider veins are abnormal dilations of visible veins under the skin. They are due to the loss of elasticity of the wall of the veins or to lesions of the venous valvules. They are located primarily at the level of the legs. They can become complicated with the formation of ulcers known as varicose veins.

The veins indicate the vessels which bring back blood to the heart. These vessels contain blood charged with carbon dioxide and waste of cellular operation. Their walls are much more elastic and flexible than the arteries; they can thus dilate and inflate . While inflating, they can store a considerable amount of blood.

There is no muscle in the walls of these vessels. When the veins go up towards the heart, one thus needs mechanisms which obliges blood to go up in spite of the phenomenon of gravity (or of gravitation). The veins are thus pipes in which, in a tightened way, pockets are filled by blood and prevent it from going down again. When the muscles contract, the pockets are crushed and emptied of their blood which go down. During each contraction, blood goes up to the heart. The pulmonary vacuum also takes part in the increase of blood by transporting it towards the zones of less pressure, blood is thus trapped , and due to this varicose veins appear.
