PREPARATION H is a soothing ointment composed of softening and soothing ingredients. The Hamamelis content in the formula, with the tannins in it, is a protective venous guard. It is rich in flavonoids and can increase the resistance of capillaries by reducing the fragility of their walls. With softening properties, Hamamelis helps ease feelings of discomfort.

This non-greasy gel is easy and pleasant to use. It can be used during pregnancy and lactation. PREPARATION H takes the form of a transparent ointment and has an applicator for external use.

PREPARATION H contains extracts from brewer's yeast and liver oil halibut rich in vitamin A, a vitamin with healing properties:

Active Ingredients: Mineral Oil (14%) (Protectant), Petrolatum (71.9%) (Protectant), Phenylephrine HCl (0.25%) (Vasoconstrictor), Shark Liver Oil 3.0% (Protectant). Inactive Ingredients: Beeswax, Benzoic Acid, BHA, Corn Oil, Glycerin, Lanolin, Lanolin Alcohol, Methylparaben, Paraffin, Propylparaben, Thyme Oil, Tocopherol, Water.
PREPARATION H calming ointment should not be used in case of allergy to one of its components. PREPARATION H calming ointment can be used in pregnant women and nursing mothers.
Apply heavily on the anal area morning and evening, after each bowel movement and whenever the need arises.
