Details
Chlorella, Chlorella Pyrenoidosa or Chlorella Vulgaris, are a microscopic fresh water algae. Not very known in Great Britain but very appreciated in Japan, it has been used in Japanese hospitals for more than 40 years. Chlorella reproduces by cellular division, thanks to photosynthesis. Every 24 hours, each mother cell divides in four daughter cells. This extremely fast division is managed by the C.G.F., English abbreviation of Chlorella Growth Factor.
Chlorella is a food complement. In Japan, it is used daily by 4 million people. The Japanese government classified this as "food of national interest"!
Chlorella causes essential nutritive element: proteins (essential and non essential amino acid essential), vitamins (A, B, C and E), unsaturated essential fats, mineral (iron, calcium, magnesium, zinc, potassium, sulphur, manganese), chlorella is also one of the plants richest in chlorophyl and B12 vitamin. It brings porphyrins, substances which activate the cellular metabolism: scars, control of the contributions out of sugar and fats, fight against inflammations.
Each active component of Chlorella have a precise action:
Sporopolleine: thanks to this fibrous membrane, Chlorella absorbs heavy metals, various pesticides, insecticides and artificial fertilisers, thus supporting the detoxication of the organism.
Chlorophyl: Chlorella is very rich in chlorophyl which oxygenizes the tissues, and cleanses the intestinal flora. Once the chlorophyl is "established" in the intestinal mucous membrane, no colonization of bacteria is possible.
C.G.F. (Growth promoter of Chlorella): Located in the core, the CGF (Chlorella Growth Factor) is a formed complex of vitamins, nucleotides (ADN, ARN) and amino acids , it represents the genetic inheritance of the algae and allows its natural growth. It takes part an increase in the lymphocytes T (immune system) and in the healthy cells in the organism, to increase natural defenses. The CGF is a true energy concentrate which allows resistance and endurance. The lactobacillus increase in the presence of CGF thus potentiating the probiotic effect on the level of the intestinal flora.
Vitamins and minerals: revitalizing action.
Vitamins B and Phosphorus: Alleviate the nervous system and supports sleep.
Here is a compilation of the principal properties of Chlorella:
-
Reduces constipation, standardizing digestion, even for handicapped people.
-
It restores the intestinal flora and controls the functions of the liver.
-
It stimulates immunizing defenses
-
It supports acido-basic balance
-
It alleviates the nervous system and supports sleep
-
It contains a hormone which stimulates cellular regeneration, heals and relieves the ulcers of the stomach. Japanese doctors succeeded in reducing gastric ulcers by using only the chlorella and an antiacid.
-
It reduces tension without decreasing the normal tension
-
It decreases "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and increases "good" cholesterol (HDL), decreases fats in blood and reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases
-
It has the property (single in the green algas) to fix heavy metals and other toxins and to eliminate them without damaging the liver. In Japan, the chlorella was used for the treatment of poisoned people.
-
Thanks to its healing properties, the chlorella can "close again" the gums around the teeth which start to be exposed.
-
Menopausic women can find in the chlorella a useful help against certain momentary disadvantages.
-
It slows down ageing.
Chlorella is especially appreciated for energy that it brings to the organism. During convalescence, for pregnant or nursing women, when we need to tackle stress and tiredness. There is not, to date, a side effect, even in young children.
