What is resveratrol?
Resveratrol is a compound produced by the protective red grapes (and some other plants) to defend themselves against parasites. Many studies have demonstrated that resveratrol is a powerful antioxidant that protects human health by multiple mechanisms. Resveratrol attributes much of the protective effects of the famous french "paradox" .
