Quercetin is a compound which one naturally finds abundantly in apples, onions, green tea and black tea, red wine, vegetables and beans.
Quercetin has been an antioxydant flavonoïde used for more than thirty years to reinforce resistance to the food and respiratory allergies. Its biological effects are explained mainly by its antioxydant activity, a specific synergy with the vitamin C (quercetin and vitamin C are protected and regenerated mutually) and by an anti-inflammatory drug activity diversified as a general-purpose.

- Quercetin inhibits the cyclo-oxygenated and lipo-oxygenated enzymes, which reduces the production of the principal inflammatory mediators: prostaglandins and leucotrienes. Its broad spectrum of activity makes it possible to recommend it in all the inflammatory situations.
