AHCC is an extract of fermented mycelia of a hybrid of different types of fungi used in traditional medicine in Japan. It distinguishes itself from other nutritional supplements based on mushrooms by its low molecular weight, obtained by an enzymatic process, which facilitates its absorption by the oral route.
